-dinner parties are not meant for highschool boys.
-party planning is not good when divided between two people who really want to have a party.
-i have the best friends.
-the idea of an apartment is taking up too much space in my brain.
-santa baby, i've been an awful good girl.
saturday was noah's six birthday, which i thought was terribly sad. they're growing up too fast. that and the overwhelming noise level made me question my reasoning for thinking i could ever want kiddos.
sunday was christmas at cookie and ron's. which meant five rounds of food, games that get out of hand, more food, and present time. dad's side of the family is crazy, but the good kind of crazy.
then it was off with mal to start prep for our christmas party monday.
we were up late, fed up with trying to make macarons, and completely stupid because we stayed up until three making decorations like wreaths and paperchains.
more baking on monday, then party prep all day long.
it looked like a winterwonderland, and the food all turned out so well.
the only problem is that me and mal are ready for the wino side of life, and considering that all of our friends are still immature and most of them are male, it wasn't exactly the dinner party we had hoped.
it was still fun, with party games and whatnot. but still.
then tuesday was work, which was horribly busy. everyone wants holiday hair.
and i come home to party again.
it was another slumber party night with jake, dannie, brock, mal, and katie.
there was mattress surfing down the stairs and another viewing of bridesmaids which the men didn't seem to appreciate as much as the girls do. it's such a funny movie though, i don't know how you couldn't like it.
and today was a drowsy day, sleeping in late, lethargy, and the finishing of christmas present buying/wrapping.
the little princesses fell asleep. notice todd's tube socks.
let the photo bombing begin...
with love and christmas cheer,
-lys.
