-i have run out of highschool dances. there aren't any left.
-sad but true.
-i, for once, still love these pictures, my hair, makeup and my dress. even after the dance.
usually i don't like the pictures or i don't like my dress after. you know, typical things that happen when you look at pictures.
this, for once, can kind of count as a style post.
we had mom's dress remade so i could wear it. it's a pretty off-white lace and we added the sheer neckline. i'm so happy with how it turned out.
robby, my hero, gave my hair enough tease to make snooki proud, and i pinned the back up so it looked more like an updo.
basically, i felt like a co-star of Mad Men. i looked retro.
we went to flipburger for dinner and then danced our @$$es off. it was awesome.
most of the seniors came back to my house and we all chatted and hot tubbed and spent some quality time together.
so, here are some pictures from prom night. the all important and final senior prom.
*isn't she a beaut*
this is mom, back in some year of the 80's with my dad.
yeah. that's the dress.
check out that hair. i love this picture. it's awesome.
(i hate prom pictures with all of my being. all of the parents standing and watching,
four thousand cameras flashing at once, you're not sure which one to look at, the smiles slowly fading off your face, turning into a look of disgust. it's awful. hate it.)
she's a stunner. hollywood here she comes.
huh huh. what are you doing.
beauts. classic pose.
this was our attempt at not awful prom pictures.
we take humor over class any day.
right before the deodorant spot incident.
glad i shared that with you, mal.
brock is always camera-ready.
we're so glam. (i'm kidding. she does look good though.)
get in my stomach.
super cute, right? brock reaching for jake's food. jake caressing brock's arm.
totally accidental that this moment was caught on camera.
with love, and the dancing ability of a white kid.
-lys.
