-today it is almost 200 degrees outside.
-i cannot tie a cherry stem in a knot nor can i unwrap a starburst with my tongue.
-i tried the latter today. again. still cant.
today is my little kid brother's birthday. he's fourteen. as in starting high school in the fall.
i remember the days when i wanted to name him tommy.
or when i use to boss him around.
or that time he threw a wooden block at my head.
oh sweet sweet memories.
but really. it's a sad landmark. he's getting older. and i'm just getting old.
two weekends ago, we played twister with paint at katie's house. and if you've never done this before, you're completely missing out on one of the most scandalous of children's games.
(really though, what creepo came up with the game twister? )
it's simple, add washable paint to each circle, (the same color goes on the circle of the same color. duh) and play the game as usual. you slide more and get completely covered.
so fun.
the other perk of this game is all the guys get really uncomfortable when you make them play together, which is all the more entertaining and beyond hilarious for the girls.
try it. now.
with love, and a soft spot for children's games.
-lys.
Hey. This is golden. Still so sad that I missed it.
