anyways. the purpose behind this post is that i thought i'd share some of the things that seem to help with these sorts of weeks.
one: skipping class to go to mcDonalds.
(disclaimer. don't get caught.)
two: go to starbucks. get a venti dirty chai.
(today was the first day i discovered this was an actual drink. it's an iced chai with a shot of espresso. and it was exactly what i needed. that and the worker that suggested it told his coworker who was making the drink what i was ordering and she replied with "oh, we're doing it dirty today." starbucks baristas always have a way of making a day better.
three: buy yourself something. today i decided that it was a good idea to buy the perfect plum colored eyeliner. i was right. retail therapy, even when it is just a little e.l.f. liner that only costs $3, you'll feel much better.
four: craft. the "hating everything in my closet" feeling accompanies the crazy behavior this week, so what better to do than to upcycle something in your closet? i turned a thrifted sweater into a cardigan. and hand stitched a bow on it. look at that.
